BIO:
Pastor Louis C. Perkins was born in New Orleans, LA and then relocated to Monrovia, California, where he began his formal schooling. He lived there until he moved with his grandparents in Smithdale, MS, where he graduated high school and completed three years of study at Alcorn State University in Biological Science, majoring in Pre-Dentistry. He then transferred to the University of Southern California where he completed another year of study. He began working as an Insurance agent with the National Life and Accident Insurance Company, and remained in their employment for 11 years as an agent, and then as Associate Sales Manager.
Louis Perkins later met Kelly I. Smith, and married her on February 7, 1987. At that time, she was the Director of CCCLA’s Children’s Ministry. Unchanged after years of marriage, Kelly remains a faithful, dedicated hardworking pastor’s wife, supporting her husband as he continues to build the ministry.
In October 1987, Louis acknowledged his calling to the ministry, and began to study and serve in whatever capacity he was asked to serve in, or wherever he saw a need.
He resigned from the Insurance industry in 1988 and found employment with several other State and Regional Governmental agencies, including, the County of Los Angeles, The State of California Agriculture Department and South Coast Air Quality Management district, and remained in their employment until he resigned in 1994 to make a Holy Ghost inspired, sacrificial move to McComb, Mississippi to start the 3rd installment of Christian’s Community Center Ministries.
Before leaving the Center, Pastor Perkins was trained as a deacon and minister while working in numerous other positions in the ministry: Counselor, Phone Follow-up, Street Witnessing, Audio and Video, Children’s Church driver and teacher. He also taught New Members’ classes, drove the church van in the Church Transportation Department, sang in the choir, helped with building construction, worked in the Finance Department and was a member of the Board of Directors for Christian’s Community Center Churches, Inc. No job was too large or too small, but all of the training has proven to be invaluable when he began building and establishing the McComb Center.
On March 27, 1994, Louis and Kelly Perkins were officially ordained Pastor and Wife of Christian’s Community #3 of McComb, Mississippi. They have worked diligently for many years. Pastor Perkins has brought the anointed teaching of the Holy Spirit to those that would hear; and the revelations have changed many lives in McComb, and the surrounding areas. Those who have desired to know the truth have come, dined and maintained a life of being blessed. They are the proud parents of a beautiful and talented daughter Abiyah Marie Perkins. In February 2006 Pastor Perkins resigned from Services as a Federal Food Safety Inspector to be in fulltime service to the House of Yahvah.
